veterinarian +Julian Peckich DVM are happy to announce "Bring Your Child to Learn at the Vet Day" on Friday, September 13, 2013 from 9:00 to closing. It is a special day where children come with their parents and pets to learn the importance of being a good steward to animals. The veterinarian and staff will talk with the children about the needs of animals and how to co-exist with kindness.
Marietta vet clinic understands that pets require a tremendous amount of care, and children can learn to help parents properly take care of pets. Feeding, bathing, and letting the dog outside can be a shared chore between everyone in the family. It's the intent of Marietta Vet Clinic is to teach children age appropriate information on how to feed their pet, proper bathing and much more. Proper food for a dog or cat and amounts make a difference in the quality of an animals quality of life. "Some foods can even be dangerous to pets, so children need to know," says Ashley Peckich, Office Manager at the
animal clinic.
In addition to feeding, topics such playing, teasing and leaving a dog to rest will be discussed. Appropriate etiquette between dogs, cats and children is important for the happiness of both.
