Ok Marietta, The Veterinarian Comes to You in Time of Need

In today's high paced lifestyles, finding time to vaccinate the family dog or cat is sometimes hard to orchestrate.  At Marietta Vet Clinic, Julian Peckich DVM has included a mobile pet clinic along with his veterinary office at 3696 Largent Way #400 Marietta, GA  30064.  "Serving pets from the community in which I grew up is important to me.  That's why we have designed an mobile pet clinic with affordable pet fees even when traveling," says Julian Peckich DVM.

Marietta Vet Clinic works hand in hand with Pets in Peace, a local business dedicated to the memory of pets through the process of pet cremation.  Both Dr. Peckich and Pets in Peace are available to come to your home with options making the experience more loving end-life experience.  If the pet owner desires, the pet will be transported from the home or veterinary clinic after passing.  Dr. Peckich will provide professional assistance with making arrangements with compassion.

"We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals!" Immanuel Kant

Marietta Vet Clinic offers affordable fees in office and with the mobile vet clinic.  Both operate Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and 8:00am to 5:00pm on Saturdays.  The mobile clinic is available in a time of need to the Marietta, Kennesaw, Powder Springs, Dallas, Acworth and surrounding Georgia communities.

Rabies Vaccine...It's the Law in Georgia

Did you know that Georgia Law (Rabies Control Law-O.C.G.A-31-19) requires every owned dog and cat to be vaccinated against rabies?  It's true, and only a licensed veterinarian is qualified to give and track the approved vaccine in accordance with the National Compendium of Animal Rabies Prevention and Control.

A veterinarian will do an exam on your dog or cat along with the rabies shot.  The rabies vaccination comes with an actual metal tag and proof of vaccination certificate.

Why vaccinate against rabies?

Rabies is a viral infection causing acute acute encephalitis in warm-blooded animals that can be passed between animals and to humans.  Animal control and implemented vaccination programs have been highly effective in domestic dogs and cats.

If you have not vaccinated your pet against rabies, contact a veterinarian and do so immediately.  He will discuss other vaccinations necessary for a healthy pet.

At Marietta Vet Clinic, it is our pleasure to offer affordable pet vaccines, including an affordable rabies vaccine.  Please call and schedule an appointment today.

Let's Make it a Good Day, New Dog Owners

Being a new dog owner brings incredible joy, as a new dog generates natural feelings of love instantaneously.  However, not long after reality sets in.  Dogs not only bring joy, but plenty of work too, and if you allow your new pet to rule the house, you will soon  feel over-whelmed. The sooner you get serious about training your new pet, the better.

Most people could use a little advise on training, so a good way to start is to sign up for a local pet training class.  Stores such as Petsmart offer affordable classes for groups.  The classes teach you to be in command of your pet and the house.  They also give opportunity to discuss any unique problems you are having with accredited pet training instructors.

If you decide to take on a new dog, decide to train.  It'll be a good decision for your home.  Feel free to call our Marietta animal clinic with any further questions.
